*OK Gals! Time to start making your creations & sending them out. No new sign-ups since the last list mail out so you should all have everyone's addresses. Please mail them out by the 7th of February so everyone get's their cards before the big day, the earlier the better so we can use them to decorate our home during the month of February. Just so's ya' know . . .
. . some of ATCs went out today (1/14) and the rest will go out tomorrow.
Some of you are also in the Valentine Swap, so I'm sending your Valentine AND your ATC together.

I just finished mine yesterday, too! Need to get to the post office for stamps, then they'll be on their way! I just love making ATC's, don't you all? My farmgirl collection is hands-down one of my all-time favorite things! Thanks so much, girls, for brightening my world! Hugs - Nini

Mine are done, girls, I just haven't been able to get to the Post Office due to the weather... I'm going to try in the morning, but they're calling for even more snow and sub-zero temps... I'm so sorry! I'll get them out asap, I promise! I feel so bad!

I have mine about ready to go. Last week I slipped on the ice and landed on my left wrist-it really slows you down. I am so gratful I didn't break it and it is not my right wrist. Mine will not have the glitter and other sparkle I had planned but I will get them out. CJ I got mine too-very nice!
Looking for some advice. I have trouble getting stuff to stick-is it the shininess of the cards? Also the cards curl and warp-is there a way to prevent that from happening? I press them but doesn't always work very good. Any ideas?

Oh, Linda! I cringed as I read your post! How painful! You poor farmgirl! I'm so glad, too, that it wasn't a break! I hope your wrist will be speedily on the mend!
It might help if you lightly coat the card with Mod Podge or a thin layer of paint to provide a better "sticking" surface for your adhesive. Another trick is to ever-so-lightly run a fine sandpaper against the surface before adhering anything to your cards.
I use my Xyron machine to create the adhesive backing on almost all of my little pieces and parts. It's fabulous. I can get pretty expensive if you're not careful, but I make sure to get as much stickiness out of each and every section soas not to be wasteful. If you're careful, you can make your cartridges go a looooong way. I love my Xyron - it's my favorite scrapbooking tool, hands down. I use it all the time. :)
I wish I could tell you what to do about the curling and warping... Maybe it would be helpful if you layer a piece of waxed paper over your finished product and then set a book on top of it while it dries? You'd just need to be super careful that there isn't any adhesive for the wax paper to stick to - that'd be a mess, and probably ruin your piece.

Nini-I can get my stuff to stick-except to the card. What I was trying to say is with this bum hand I can't do the cards the way I planned. Not good at the little stuff right now. I will try some of your suggestions-thanks! Maybe next time it will stick better.

Yes! Jill! That was SO neat! Thank you girls - I've receive five ATCs total and am just having a wonderful time looking them over and over and over!!!
My ATCs went out in the mail this afternoon... No fancy card with them this time, but they were made with love and smiles and all of you in mind! 'Hope you all like them!
