As a writer I know how hard it is to get any writing done when I'm home. I go to the coffee shop nearly every day. They know me well. I have other friends that write and we started a critique group. In our discussions we have each talked about having a place to go to get away, to just focus on writing.
Well, I've talked with the boyfriend who has a B&B and we have started just that. We're not set to take a lot of people, but I am hoping that folks can benefit.
I know there are several writer's among the farmgirls and maybe you know someone that could benefit from some dedicated time. We will have the B&B open for just writers once a year. Writers can come for as short or long as they need. More information is attached in the link below.
The support of other writers is a tremendous help. A writers' retreat sounds like a wonderful idea. We used to have a monthly group meeting at the local library but it disbanded when several elderly members stopped coming. I wish I could find something in this area. Susan
