I'd love to participate in this one too! I've got a bunch of these already crocheted. They are good for filling in at the Dr. offices and waiting while my Mama grocery shops, etc. Let me know what I need to do and I'm there! If you have an odd # of folks, I'd be glad to do two!

I think I'll wait until the next dishcloth swap to join. I'm crocheting my first one right now and it is a little lopsided since I'm just learning! I figured dishclothes were a good place to start, not too big and they start basic.

I will practice for the next one! I'd hate to send a fellow farmgirl a hexagonal dishcloth that was supposed to be square... ;)

Hello, Please don't let being a beginner stop you from joining in. I would be happy to be your partner ! I think this will be a lot of fun and my dishes won't mind if your dishcloth is a little lopsided !

No one minds a beginner, we were all one at one time or another, the thing that counts is that you are going for it. WOO HOO for you. And before you know it you will be experienced.

Finished the knitting last night on my dishcloth all I need to do now is weave in the ends.

WHAT FUN THIS IS. Thanks for letting me join in.

Theresa

I agree, Theresa! I'm not what you'd call an expert, but I've crocheted probably 25 - 30 of them, and they go pretty fast now.

This is my first swap. What types of goodies does everybody like to put into their swap packages or what goodies do you like to receive?

First to all the ladies, since there are a fair number of newbies on this swap. Tucks or extras you send along with your dishcloth are not expected or required. If you have the means, time or things to add to your dishcloth your partner will be grateful. Some of our farmgirls friends might not be able to do that, and thats okay too... :) This is about making dishcloths and making new friends.

Things to think about is where your partner lives, if its in a cold place chapstick or handcreme always a winner. Teas or hot chocolate. Do you live in a place that an area is known for something special? like Texas and bluebonnets....you can send seeds. Trinkets for the kitchen are always good too...recipe cards, a favorite recipe of your own. Some things dont have to cost money. Be yourself! Have fun!

I love the idea of sharing a recipe and/or a package of seeds, and it really is about the dish cloths! I am excited to 'meet' my partner!
