I thought that I wanted to spend New Year's Eve out somewhere, but ended up just visiting my parents and sister, early, and coming back home. The more I think about it, I'm kind of glad. Got myself a glass of wine and watching a movie with my husband, children and our dog Lucy. Maybe even a little time to reflect on what is really important to me in life and all the blessings that God has given me.

Wishing all you farm girls and families a wonderful New Year.

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

We were supposed to go to my friend's house for her yearly celebration but neither of us is feeling that great so we decided to stay home. He's getting over it and I'm coming down with it (ugg). We thought about going out for supper but its totally insane to get reservations around here so we decided not to even do that. Fixed a nice fried perch, scalloped potatoes, and a apple/walnut/blue cheese salad on spring mix lettuce. Best thing is I paid less then $10 for the entire meal. Never would have been able to have that meal for that price at a restaurant. Watching the Red Wings and then we'll probably watch a movie until we sip some bubbly.

I spent my new years at the farm going duck hunting. I enjoy going out to the farm. Mrs. Julie always thinks I am bored when I come over but it's not. I enjoy it because there is always something different. I am always learning something different, useful, and helpful.

Just a girl with big dreams.

I have spent the last several years home with my kids. They really love getting the party food out, decorations, planning the night's events (games etc.) and I feel we are much safer than out on the road somewhere.

We went to our local bar, barely made it till midnight, then hit the hay. lol It was nice to visit with friends and to give the local bar some business. They serve the best steaks on Saturday nights and are really good people. We give them our business whenever we can, its hard for small town businesses to stay afloat. Different stroaks for differnt folks. It makes the world go 'round. :)
