Does anyone have any "recipes" for making shampoo? My teenage son has very dry scalp and I haven't been able to find anything that works for him. His skin is fine, but he just has trouble with shampoos. Thanks so much.

I thought I had a recipe that came in an herb magazine I once subscribed to. If I find it, I will post it for you.

Good Morning Sister Wendy!

My Favorite radio Host, June Stoyer, Host and Executive Producer of The Organic View™ Radio Show in NY, interviewed a woman named, Kayla Fioravanti, a ‘kitchen chemist’ who creates the type of recipes you're looking for. The company name is Essential DIY. Here's the link to her website recipe page: http://www.essentialwholesale.com/Learning-Library/Bulk-Cosmetics-Natural-Organic_5 There's a recipe for cucumber shampoo & conditioner.

June invited me to sing live on The Organic View!™ for her “Gobble Till You Wobble, What’s on YOUR Organic Menu?” Thanksgiving Show. It was a lot of fun to sing about our "Sisterhood" on live radio in NYC!!! If you haven't heard your MaryJanesFarm song, here's a link to our song: http://www.ellenlivesay.com/maryjanesfarm.htm Enjoy!

Hope this helps!

Below is June’s write-up about Kayla:
In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, our favorite Kitchen Chemist, Kayla Fioravanti, Chief Formulator and Registered Aromatherapist from Essential Wholesale Labs will talk about how you can make some really great gifts in your very own kitchen! This is also a great way to learn about different hand crafted items if you are looking to start a small business or simply just make extra money! Kayla has a very unique and successful YouTube video series called Kitchen Chemistry with Kayla and will share some of her recipes with our audience.

Ellen -

Thanks so much for the link to Kayla's website. I've taken a look at it and it looks great! I'm anxious to try some of the shampoo bases, and there's a lot more to look into. Thanks again!
