Posted a picture of my favorites. Going to take Heather to work in a minute then back up to the attic and upstairs room. Hope I don't just stand there and stare at it, you have to be inspired to do these things and not sure if that is with me today. Maybe more coffee.

Nancy, I collect buttons. There are many good books to help you identify materials they are made of, history, etc. There is a National Button Society, state societies and I collect buttons that catch my eye. I use them in sewing and quilting projects. It looks like the red ones are bakelite, one of the first plastics used. These are highly prized. Have fun. What a great way to display them so you can run your fingers through them. Enjoy!
