No problem, I just wondered. I guess I missed your original posts - I've been in and out and sometimes have to read through the emails very quickly. Surprises are always fun. I am in a lot of quilt block swaps, and we've been doing lots of scrappy blocks - the same pattern, but the fabrics in the blocks are always different than what we have in out stash. Makes for an interesting quilt.

I am new to all of this but I would like to join in the Apron Swap. Like Erin said earlier - "I'm brand new to the forum and figure there's no better way to get involved than jumping right in." I'm jumping with her. Please just let me know the details. I like half aprons any color and ruffles are not a problem. I can't wait.

Please add me to the swap. I have no preference about the apron. I'm 5' 7" and small build. I have been learning how to make ruffles so if I get a partner that likes them I'll be ready!! Barbara

Add me! I love swapping aprons and don't have a Spring design yet.
I have a question.....what about Easter fabric....I guess that would be up to the partners.
I like a full apron with no gathers or ruffles. I am 5 ft 5in and wear a size 16.
Hope I can join ya.

Hi, Debra! Welcome to the swap - very happy to see you here and GO STEELERS (I am very much a Denver Broncos fan, but since they had a pretty bad season . . .)

Blessings!

Does that make us an even 50? Hope this means we'll get LOTS of pics to look at. I love inspiration!

I want the same partner to both give and receive from please.
Welcome newbies. I'm in PA too!

Nothing like waiting for the last minute. Please sign me up. I would prefer a full apron and really have no other preferences since I know anything a farm girl makes will be just wonderful.

I'll send them out in the morning. Need to wait until the last moment for those procrastination-type farmgirls who might be out there. LOL!!

Jonnie,
Thanks for doing this! I am so looking forward to getting my Apron Buddies' name and apron preferences. I just set up a new sewing corner in my bedroom. I was previously at the kitchen table which was such a bother, all that setting up and putting away in the middle of a work in progress for family meals really inhibited my sewing productivity. This apron project will be the maiden voyage of my new sewing center!!!

Hay ya'll, I know exactly what you mean, Kathy Jane. I have set-up my machine all over the house and have decided to remove my garden tub, which hasn't been used in 9 years and replace it with a sewing nook. I am so excited...I have never done demolishion but here goes. And its all because of the encouragement and influence from my SISTERS that I feel so confident!! You can do all things thru Christ and I know He will be right there with me. I start this weekend....I already have the flooring and my neighbor is helping with the water and electricity removal. Oh I'm ready for my apron pal now. Love and Prayers, Daizy

P.S. Everyone HAS to post pictures and there is a tutorial on the main forum page but I don't remember the title.

I am excited for you! You will enjoy being able to leave your machine up so much. Have fun making the apron!

Also, I would like to take a look at the tutorial mentioned since I have not come across it yet. Thanks!
