I have an old light that I would love to get fixed. It hung in my dining room in the house I owned in Malone. After about 6 or 7 years we finally managed to crack one of the globes and I absolutely love that light, so much so that I took it down before moving so I could always have it with me. I have looked all over in my neck of the woods to no avail. Would anyone who might have seen something like this please write me?

There is a place in Portland Oregon called Rejuvenation Hardware - they have a web site. They buy old stuff and resell it. Try there.

Georgette - I have not figured that out either, but anyway, your light globe is beautiful! And big! :)

Peace

Your pictures show up so large because your file is so large. Some websites automatically resize the display of the photo but this one just shows it as you upload it. Do you have a program that you can resize your file with? I think tinypic.com automatically does it for you. Your camera also might have a way to start out with a smaller file size when you capture the image.

Anyway, I hope you find a "new" lampshade for your fixture! I know what a heartbreak that can be.

That's pretty Georgette, no idea where to get another one though. I posted to you on how to get smaller pictures under your question on how to post them, jusr FYI! :)
