I am way overdue for doing a significant thing on my bucket list: reading the entire Bible. I found a plan that allows it to be done in 90 days and will post my progress here daily. Join me if you like!

today's reading: Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 16:16
tomorrow: Genesis 17:1 to Genesis 28:19

My husband and I did this a couple years ago, but we did a plan where you read the Bible in a year. I am up to the challenge (and the reward) of reading the Bible in 90 days. I'm with you!

I have followed the read the Bible in a year plan every year, just starting it over every January. I will complete my 3rd year of doing this. I think there is something to learn every time and, of course, so very many reminders.

I admire your goal Star . . and Betsy. I am going to start the year-plan over as usual. But I'll be praying for God's blessing as you do this.

Betsy, we do have the same quote! I love it. CJ, thanks for the prayers and I know you are right that I will get something new everytime I read.

Yesterday's reading covered the Creation story, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel and the story of Noah. Whew, God was busy! Today's reading is Genesis 17:1 to Genesis 28:19. Tomorrow's is Genesis 28:20 to Genesis 40:11 for anyone who will be joining us.

I just finished reading the Bible in 90 days the Saturday before Christmas. It was SO rewarding! I am planning on doing it again beginning Jan 1. Have fun, and be blessed!

I've gotten behind, but I will catch up, I will catch up :) I just love to read these old stories. God is amazing and we silly humans are so slow to get it. Somehow we think we can do it on our own.

Okay...got behind with all the Christmas hustle....so today I am reading Numbers 8:15 to 21:7 and tomorrow will read Numbers 21:8 to 32:19...and I'm now reading on the new Kindle I got for Christmas. I'm so glad to hear from Melissa that someone has done this and so glad to know that Betsy is hanging in there with me. I'm loving these chapters and am truly hearing things I have never heard before.

I just finished Deuteronomy 7! I love Deut 6:7, you shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise" Oh that I would have the Lord's words on my lips all day!

I started reading today and couldn't stop! I finished Deuteronomy and Joshua. Once you get past the rather dry part of the allotment of lands in Joshua, it's a powerful testimony of his devotion and obedience to God
