I just found a beautiful 9 X 12 carpet for my front room at a local consignment shop and it is pretty dirty!

I checked on-line and there must be 100's of recipes for home-made carpet shampoo.

Does anyone have a favorite recipe that really works. I have a bissell carpet cleaner so I would be using that.
