Hi Diane, I have one of the necklaces but was wondering if I could nominate a farmgirl sister that I believe is worthy of receiving this necklace?
Thank you,
Debbie

Diane, This is a wonderful place to be! I found the Farmgirl Connection through MJF magazine and it has truly changed my life!
I have "met" the most amazing women, and cherish each one!
Thanks Diane for all you do, and to MaryJane and her family for bringing us all together!
Hugs, Ruth

I would like to nominate Farm Girl Sister, Christy Harrill #1951. She is my pen pal and that is how I came to know this wonderful young women few months ago. She is a true Farm Girl at Heart and proves it every day of her life in the work she does for not only her 3 children but other children in her Mississippi town. She home schools as her oldest son is Autistic, she has formed a Cultivator Club for some little girls in her community and she is a Sunday School teacher as well. She gets as much support from her Farm Girl Community at home and on line as she gives. I admire her greatly and am Blessed to have her in my life. I hope you will consider her for a MJF Sisterhood Necklace.
What a wonderful gift you are giving to our Sisters Diane, Thank you.

I am so proud to be Farmgirl Sister #2416. Since retiring a few years ago and now having limited driving and living 50 miles out in the wilderness, contact with other women is rare. When I found the Sisterhood, I was so excited to have a place to read what other women were doing and thinking. Most of my friends have retired now and moved down amongst some of you. I miss them, but now I have you all. Blessings and love to every Sister.

To me, Farmgirl Connection means a place to "be". I can be happy, be sad, be funny, be serious, be taught, be a teacher, be inspired, be inspirational, be in need & be needed....and simply, a place where I can just be ME :) .....I can be ALL of this because of all the WONDERFUL Farmgirls that expect nothing more or nothing less!

I love the fact that I've made so many new friends, both on line and in real life. Hi Linda/sissarge! Our group shopping trip was awesome and I'm looking forward to our next meeting together. This fellowship has become a place where I can come to get support, to support others and to feel like I'm not alone. Thanks for the opportunity to have my own membership necklace and thanks to all of you for being here.

Blessings and Happy Holidays to you all!

The necklace giveaway is so sweet of you! I am brand new this week, and I am so excited about getting to know everyone!! I am a Michigan transplant to Kentucky and have had a HUGE learning curve on running a sheep and goat farm, shearing and spinning wool, gardening, etc.. I was never a "City Girl" by any means, but I wasn't hands on either until we bought this farm. I love it!

Looking forward to many long and strong friendships...the last farmgirl on the roster as of this week..Farmgirl Sister #2476
