Hi FarmGirls! I'm at the county library for a few minutes and wanted to check in real quick. Still no basement -- maybe next week. The Guineas are on the loose now & all 5 of them are doing well. The 2 ducks love their "pond" (large children's plastic wading pool) and splash around -- so much fun to watch. My favorite, though, are our 2 new kittens -- Lucy (a Calico) and Tiger (yep, stripes of gray). I watch them and laugh at their antics till my dh thinks I'm a goof. Our daughter moved out to the camper this morning, so space is at a premium, but I'm so glad she's with us!

My hearing before the school board has been rescheduled (by them) 4 times and is now set for 5:30 p.m. on June 29. I'll keep you posted.

Oops, gotta go, dh is here to pick me up. I think of you ladies alot and sure do miss you! I enjoy getting cards from the ladies in the pen pal group and it's great fun to be writing letters again and getting to know some of you better. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Patti,

Sounds like you're having lots of fun on the farm! The ducks and kittens sound so cute. Happy your daughter is with you. Let us know how all goes.

Patti, I hope your keeping a journal. You can share some of it with us when you get back on, on a regular basis.

Ladies, what was with the school board or where did she talk about it? I must have missed that one.
