WOULD ANYONE FIND a work book designed to help the novice farmgirl choose flea market finds and make them over using basic decorative painting techniques and minimal repairs useful?

We could call it Born AGAIN Creations]
Hand Painted Furniture for every room in your home and porch too!

~ Up cycle your flea market finds farmgirl style using basic decorative painting techniques. Learn to decoupage, distress, drag, rag and roll. Use vintage tiles to perty up an end table or serving tray. Try your hand at mosic, stenciling and for the fancy farmgirl, light it up with gold leaf.

I would love to CONTRIBUTE to THIS workbook! I'm brainstorming already! Oh Mary Jaaaaaane..... can you hear me?
Other workbook ideas:

Farmgirl Garden Art~ up-cycled planters for growing more organic veggies and prettying up your garden spaces - Shery J's Lust for Rust planters would be fun for this one!

Farmgirl Construction Manual [b]with ten basic projects and tool list:

Debbie, good idea! I have a huge library of books on painted furniture and flea market finds. I used to do murals, paint finishes and had a furniture studio that I sold up-cycled furniture in. I also gave classes before I had to close due to my Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Brenda, if you need any advice you can e-mail me. Over 22 years of re-doing furniture, I have found certain techniques that I could pass on.
Here is a little dresser I did not too long ago.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Oh Diane,
I love your work! I've been to your site before and I adored everything!
I'm sorry to hear you had to give up your painting... I imagine you are still quite creative in other areas though! Aren't all farm girls just that way?

I keep several books on hand painted furniture around too and I check them out from the Library as well... I enjoy "looking back " at antique hand painted furniture for inspiration.

glad you like the idea.. It's true there's a ton of information out there for the furniture painting hobbyist but I rather like the idea of a book specific to hand painted furniture farmgirl style that teaches basic to intermediate skills in painting and prep! Maybe we could collaborate if there's enough interest and Mary Jane likes this idea??!!
