I was on high gear tonight and my kitchen looks so much better!
A friend called yesterday with an old pie safe to give away. She knows me well enough to know that I would be there in a flash..she was right!! She also gave me a small off white bookshelf....great bonus..I can never ever have too many shelves. Anyway, I was busy last night and so I unloaded them into the garage to deal with later. My sis in law and her family were over here for supper tonight and she couldn't beleive that I hadn't already found a place and put them there...(she is a natural born decorator and we both love old country stuff) and the more we talked we ended up bringing them in and changing some stuff around and then I had cleaning to do and dishes from feeding 11 people dinner and then mopped the floor after I milked Mona. Whew! I am going to sleep great tonight...and wake up to a cuter kitchen!! Yay!! I will take pictues soon.

Look forward to the pictures Jenny, I know sometimes if I just move one thing, it sets off a chain of events and I have the entire house changed around, and then saying to myself, why didn't I think of doing this before!

Jenny you are a girl after my own heart!! Anything new that comes into my house causes a flurry of activity on my part and a race to the door from my family trying to get away! I'm not quite sure why they don't see the fun in it all. Hmmmmm.
Can't wait to see the pics!
Hope you slept well.

All your things look great on your new finds, that were easy to find from a friend. like those kind of gifts. Where did you keep all your stuff before the new cupboard? Anyway a great place to keep all your toys. Also never heard you mention the tractor theme, did you make that apron? Or is it an apron curtain? If this doesn't make much sense its because its 5.30 in the morning, so just know that I think your new things look cute.

Jenny, how fun! I think you got that other pie safe about last summer some time, didn't you? When I first lurked around here, I remember reading someone's excited post about getting a pie safe...was that you? Anyhow, enjoy! Judy
