I've been mostly gone from here since I quit my job in March and went to work on our old farmhouse-didn't know if we'd sink or swim financially. But things are ok and I'm thankful for that for sure! So I'm passing on my gratitude by sponsoring three new sisters. Who out there isn't in the sisterhood yet? There are so many new women here. I've got two more days in the special deal Brian sent out for election day on Nov. 4. So let me hear from three of you in the next two days and I'll be your Sisterhood sponsor.

I one of the newbies around here. I haven't made the step to sisterhood. But I have enjoyed the chat rooms alot. And I have met other farmgirls from my area. A real treat.
Glad to hear you are in a better space. Hope your fortune continues to improve. I don't know what you mean by a sponsor, but I look forward to seeing you in future postings!

Okay, sorry, I'll start again. I'd like to pay the fee for three girls on this forum who are not yet in the Sisterhood. Usually, there is a 20.00 fee to join. Those of us in the Sisterhood received an email on November third with a special rate to either pay for a new person as a gift and/or to renew our own membership until the end of November. I renewed my own membership and now I'd like to give three more ladies the gift of a membership. I'd need your names, addresses and email addresses.

I would love to be in the sisterhood! I was able to do it a few years back but since then have not been able to swing the renewal. What a generous & thoughtful offer.

I would enjoy being in the sisterhood, also. I have held back because the fee was just something that with our household's new job/looking for work situation it seemed like something that should wait. I do believe that eventually I will join, just doesn't make financial sense right now so I am not the best choice for you. I do commend you for your generosity. I know that the connection I have made since joining has been very rewarding and although being a sister may not be a "necessity" for many right now it would be a very nice extra! Happy holidays and enjoy your search!

What a lovely offer you have made! The sisterhood would be great to join, but so many of us have financial difficulties. While I see three other farmgirls have expressed interest, thought I'd post in hopes of being a back-up choice! I love the forum and am looking forward to starting a local chapter. Okay, here I am. I did work one day this week. My antique mall asked me to work on Mondays. I spend more than I make, though. I counted four names here. They are: Laura, Robin, Marianne and Marian. I only have tomorrow to join you four up, so if you would just send me the following information, I'll get the ball rolling: Your names and mailing addresses and your email addresses. Laura, Robin, Marianne, Marian, Tracy and Patricia - I've just spoken with Brian at MJF and taken care of your sisterhood memberships. I hope I just managed to send you all emails. It's been a bad day for my computer access here. Technology is not my bff. I think the computer knows I feel threatened. :) You'll all get your sisterhood info sent directly to you. I have a very clear memory of the days(not so far in the past) when a treat for the woman of the family was just never in the budget. We always put ourselves last. So I just wanted to do a small RAOK for a few of my forum sisters.
