no-i am not going to be "alone" for the holiday- i have my mother and brother, his wife and son and a family friend whom i will eat dinner with- it's not the same tho--

my hubby-soon to be ex- is all alone in a huge apartment- i have our dogs and his birds and all his stuff.....

this divorce was my choice and i still stand by it but this morning i was ready to ask him to come back.....feeling extremely guilty i guess......

i guess i need an "atta girl" to keep me strong and a
"guilt release" pill to take away the horrid feeling i have for dumping his world totally upside down two months ago....

thanx for letting me whine.....

Margo I did the samething 33 years ago, you have to do what's best for you. 31 years later I am married to the greatest guy and the ex is remarried too. Those quilt feelings will fade and when you do have them remember you did what needed to be done. Happy Thanksgiving

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

It's hard I am sure. But if it was the right thing to do then, it's the right thing to do now. Those "firsts" are always hard, no matter what the cause.

((((hugs))))

Do what you love, love what you do.

thank you gals- those who poste and those who maybe aren't sure what to say!
i feel a teensy bit better this morning- long story short; if i asked him back...life would not be better for him except that i would be in it and he wouldn't be alone- his quality of life was better here ( he has issues-physical and mental) ---but my quality of life was in the septic tank -i can smile and sing now and -tho i feel selfish--i am doing what i need/want to do --

again- thx for listening and know that you all are appreciated!!!! can't have enuff sisters!!!!!

As women, we always think of others first. Sometimes you have to think of you, even if it feels selfish. You will be happier and healthier for it. I left my first Husband who was an alcoholic and abusive after 8 years of giving him another chance. My children and I suffered for it. It was hard but I divorced him and life for my children and me got better and he is still a drunk. That was in 1989! My children have grown and barely have a connection with him. That is his fault not ours. There is a reason you left so stand by it and be free! Prayers to you this Holiday Season. May your new year be bright.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

good job you knew what you needed and made it happen. we all need to pay the price of our choices. being alone for him may be a good thing. sometimes we need to be alone to be forced to look inside ourselves. hang in there. have fun today. sherrye
