Absolutely! A Marine from our county died in Afganastan ten days ago, and Saturday I passed the motorcade taking hime home for the last time. I had to pull off the highway and cry.....over 100 motorcycles, pick up trucks with huge flags, just amazing. Please lets not forget our troops, Carol

Carol wasn't the crowds wonderful. People from all around were there. God Bless all of the men and women serving our country for our safety! Prayers for all of them and their families. Hugs, Brenda
And just another thought, lets pray that Congress does not reduce our services of their pay and insurance. They have given so much for us, they don't need these worries.

Brenda, I heard on the news that people from all over the US contacted that family with their condolences. I hope that brings some comfort. My "baby" leaves for the Marines next summer.....

Thanks Hannah for the little reminder. I try to be thankful for our troops everyday. Especially the one's that won't be home for the holidays.
I stopped a WWII Vet in Hobby Lobby the other day and thanked him for his service. We then had the nicest 15 minute conversation. I walked away feeling pretty good about life.
