We Gather Together
We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing;
He chastens and hastens his will to make known;
The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing,
Sing praises to his name: He forgets not his own.
Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,

I love this hymn, Melody! I learned it in Kindergarten and sing it every Thanksgiving! Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed, happy Thanksgiving! Hugs - Nini

Thanks for posting Melody. We sang this song in school when I was growing up (asking the Lord's blessing in school - times sure have changed!) I'm sitting at my desk at work singing it right now.
