I have the best pumpkin cookie recipe with a light frosting. Would he like this. You can skip the frosting.

yeah!...I had no idea how many to get...this is my 1st time using the real thing. Pumpkin pie is definitely on the Thanksgiving menu. There is also a recipe to make candy that I want to try, it's a Mexican recipe. I figured I'd freeze it & have pumpkin all year long.

A yummy yet simple pumpkin cookie recipe - 2 boxes spice cake mix 1 large can of pumpkin 1 bag chocolate chips Just mix it all together and drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. Quick, easy and my family loves them.

Karla, I grew quite a few pie pumpkins this year. I halve them and scrape out the seeds and strings and then put them cut side down in baking pans with about 1/2 inch of water and bake at 350 until soft. I then cool them and scrape out all the yummy pumpkin and puree it and then freeze it for later use. I use it in pie and in my organic doggy treats. I have been looking on www.allrecipes.com and just put pumpkin in the search tab and come up with all kinds of recipes. It is free and every recipe has reviews that are very helpful.
