We had 4 hens that started laying all at the same time and one that never nested and like to sleep by the rooster on the hen house floor.

We put our light in the coop a few weeks ago and it's confused them all, they are up all the time.

A few days ago our 5th hen started laying. She's 7.5 months old.

She's always been a dear girl and I am so proud of her and happy that it clicked, literally clicked when daylight savings time happened.

How sweet - some of us just want to make sure we stand out of the crowd. Now you gave her the attention and light she needed and now you will be rolling in eggs. I think that you should give her a treat but that is just me a spoiler of chickens.
