Hi everyone!
I'd like to try my hand at making pepper jelly (red or green) as Christmas gifts...anyone have any tried-and-true recipes? I'd like to can this weekend and get some presents out of the way!
Thank you in advance
Jenny

Jenny, do you want a hot pepper jelly or just a pretty coloured pepper jelly? I've been going to make a cider-hot pepper jelly for some time now if I can find a recipe on line some where =)

The kind of jelly I mean is the kind you pour over cream cheese and eat with crackers...do you know what I mean? Is the jalapeno jelly super hot?
And thanks for the replies so far :)

You can control the heat by adjusting the amount of Jalapeno. I have made it real spicy and also mild. It is good on cream cheese, and make such an easy appetizer.
