A feedsack vendor I met recently at the Round Top (Texas) Antique Fair described feedsack as "comfort fabric," much like macaroni and cheese is "comfort food." I think she hit it on the head--feedsack makes you feel at home, comfortable, and at ease.

This apron features a sunny yellow, deep orange, and purple border print vintage feedsack fabric on one side. I was lucky to find this full feedsack from fellow Etsian Vintage Touch: http://www.etsy.com/shop/vintagetouch

The fabric was cut so that the border is featured in the waistband and pocket. The opposite side is new violet on purple tiny floral print fabric. An edging of pretty orange rick-rack peeks out around the edge of the pocket. The ties are a generous length.

These reversible aprons do double duty. In the kitchen, wear the "new" side to catch spills and splashes, then flip the apron around to serve your lovingly prepared meal.

The feedsack fabric is NOT reproduction.
The price for this apron is $38.00. You can contact me through this forum if you are interested in purchasing it, or order it at my Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/summersplace
Shipping is free for Farmgirls!
