Wouldn't you know it-once again my right ear is plugged and it's Sunday and I do not want to make a made dash to the ER!
I have tried applying drops of warm olive oil, warm water with baking soda rinses, Valsalva maneuver (which made me very dizzy-), hot water bottle and now I have run out of ideas. Oh...and some Sudafed 90-mg....
Any suggestions? I would really appreciate some advice-girls!

Do you have one of those ear picks they sell at the drug store? Next, use 1/2 peroxide and 1/2 warm water solution lay on your side and let it foam for 30 minutes. Keep doing this until the foaming reduces. Then what I do is get a baby bulb and use the same solution after I've used the above for 30 minutes and the pick if it doesn't open after that then I flush with the warm water/peroxide solution until it opens back up. Works every time. Also at the health food store they have those ear tubes you light and it draws out the wax too.
Hubby gets plugged ears and so he lays on his side and we put a few drops of peroxide in it. You can see the peroxide bubbling and working and then he rolls over and lets whatever in there come out. Sometimes we wait 15 minutes to half hour and do it again. It works for him.
Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!
Yay for relief!! I've heard that you can also do a few drops of the garlic oil inside scentless garlic pills. Never tried it but might be worth a shot next time-- hopefully there isn't a next time though!
