We're trick or treating in our neighborhood this year b/c Halloween falls on a Sunday so my niece and nephew won't be coming in from Indy. My fil and mil are coming over, so I wanted to make something warm and toasty for supper, but not so involved I can't enjoy giving out candy and walking around.

What are your favorites?

Pioneer Woman posted a recipe a few days back for a corn chowder that sounded really good, and I thought I'd make some pumpkin muffins to go along with it...but I'm totally open to suggestions!!!

We always have a household of folks over and I make a pot of chili and put out lots of different things to dress it up--rice, cheese, corn chips, onions, green pepper, cheese, sour cream and of course, lots of cornbread. My boys always decorate some halloween type cookies.

ROFL...funny Sheila...I was thinking the same thing..."Man, you'll ruin your appetite for the "candy-grazing." LOL
I love the "Beenies & Halloweenies" Jenny. Cute!

I usually bake brownies and wrap each one individually, and I give out Halloween pencils. I know kids always need pencils.
