Some of you will remember me asking for postcards and prayers for one of our community's young girls that had been diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, sweet Delaney recently lost her fight. Our little community paper had a lovely write-up about her, written by her Dad. I thought I would share a small part of it: "All the support was deeply appreciated and it made an enormous difference for all of us throughout the process. Friends from around the country and even outside Canada sent postcards in support. This act alone...really underscored the size of the support network Delaney had in her corner". So to all of you that took the time to send a card or postcard to Delaney, please know the difference you helped make by your act of kindness. Bless you all, you are very special people. Diane xoxo |

Diane, I too am sorry to hear she lost her battle. She is in God's hands now.

Diane: I am so sorry for your loss. Such sad news, indeed. I will pray for her parents. God Bless. Marly
