i am in need of my farmgirl sisters thoughts and prayers.
this friday, june 4th i will have the first of 2 procedures to correct the blockages in my legs. i will have another surgery a few weeks after that. and then i hopefully will be able to kick up my heels and resume my life without so many doctors visits.
all of you farmgirls i feel helped me get through the cancer journey and i just feel i need your strength and support pulling for me this friday.

Good Father, I ask right now for You to be with Fran as she goes into surgery this Friday. I pray that You will give her a peace that passes all her understanding. That she will just be overwhelmed by the peace she feels as she goes into the OR. I ask that You will guide the physicians hands in all care and that she would come through the surgery beautifully without any complications. I also pray that You will help her to heal very quickly and that she would be free from pain in the healing process. Give her strength and friends to surround her with love during this time. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN!

Oh Frannie,
I am so sorry that you are still having to go through so many horrible surgeries. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so grateful to see that you had come back and that you seemed to be feeling better, and now you have to go away again. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
this surgery is one for my blockages and i knew all along that eventually i would have it. the chemo made my circulation problems worse, which sometimes happens.
after this hospital stay i will have one more to do. yeah!!!!!
anyway thanks so much for your support.

thanks once again to all the farmgirl friends for putting me on your prayer list.
my surgery was on friday, my doctor let me be "awake" through it and aside from a scary bleed all went well. yippeeeee!
there was a 95% block in the groin area and already my foot and leg is beginning to change. it is no longer dark, and better yet when i walk , it doesnt hurt.
i will go back to my doctor in 2 weeks and he told my husband he may not have to put me through this again for the right leg. that was a total surprise. aaahhhhh, the power of farmgirl thoughts and prayers.
anyway, i hope to return back to myself, maybe even a new improved version and put all this illness behind me.
thanks again for all your well wishes and thoughts and prayers.

janice you guys are too cute! and betsy thanks for my prayers, i cant wait till we get a chance to meet.
have you been to the quilt shop that is up your way, i think it is in celina? on the way to greensville. i heard it was wonderful. cant wait to feel better and get a chance to go there.
i would love to come to kentucky, dh keeps saying her will bring me as soon as i feel tiptop.
a big farmgirl thanks to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers that have come my way. i dont think i could have done all this without my farmgirls, friends, family, and of course the good Lord always has his hand in all of our lives. i hope i have learned all the lessons from this particular journey. i have certainly learned a few!!!!
