Please prayers for me this school year. I am a paraprofessional and in a different position than I have been last 17 years. I am also totally burnt out and hope to retire this year or next at most, we will farm full time :-). I need prayers for strength to get through the year & wisdom in getting some things paid off ASAP.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart

Rae, as I write I am offering my words up as a prayer. May the Lord be with you every step of the way through the year. May he give you an extra helping of his mercy & grace each morning to see you through the day.

In Deuteronomy 28:2-8 we read about the blessings that we can pray over ourselves, families, animals, farm/jobs, & store houses. I pray that the Lord will bless your finances and keep you and your family.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Another scripture I strive to live by.

Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Good morning girls. I have a prayer request. My husband and I are fighting. We are trying to make some pretty big decisions concerning houses and we're just not seeing eye to eye. He has been falling off his walk with God and I think that's a huge reason for all of our problems recently. Prayers would be appreciated.

Mrs Hurlbut, as I write these words I offer them up as my prayer for you. May the Lord bless and keep you. May He do a work in your husband so he will find his way back to the Lord. I pray blessings of peace over you, him, and your family. May the Lord bless you in your decision making. In Jesus name, Amen.

Mrs. Hurlbut,
I am sending my prayers your way and ask to lift you and your husband up to the Lord and pray that he realizes that the devil is working on him and gets back with the Lord and also that you both see a house that you both like together.
Blessings

Rae - praying for strength and wisdom as you requested! Also offering prayers of omfort - knowing He will provide you with what you need each and every day! He will see you through this year!

Nikki - oy! How difficult it is to be fighting with your hubby! Praying that our Father draws your hubby back to Him, and that the two of you can find a resolution that is somewhere in the middle for you both! Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you both through this storm!

Hi girls -

I've been away for a couple of weeks, but please know that I am now including Shannon, Rae and Nikki in my prayers! Please keep us posted!

Here is one of my favorite Scriptures that I hope will inspire and uplift you:

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore."

Psalm 121, A Song of Ascents

I took this picture when we were at Old Sturbridge Village recently... When I saw that one, hopeful flower, this Psalm immediately came to mind!

Hugs and blessings to you all today!

Nini

Isaiah 61 is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible. Verse 3 is a verse of hope and redemption.

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

From time to time we may repeat our favorite scriptures or someone else's. I just figure that's the Lord's way of giving us what he wants us to hear at that moment. He has his ways of talking to us.

Hi, everyone. Mark me as a believer! I'm a Messianic Jew - a Jew who accepts Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah. And I'm a new Farmgirl! (Just got my package today, as a matter of fact. I love that badge! Now I need a nice denim jacket to put it on...in time for the county fair next month.)

Anyway, glad to find some double sisters here - sisters "on the farm" and in the Kingdom!

Rosemarie, double sisters, I like it - I like it a lot.

Reminds me of the story of Ruth & Naomi when Ruth says 'your people shall be my people; your God my God.

This morning I potted two plants that I received this week. It's a cool fall morning here and the sun is shining through the big oak tree casting light & shadow across my back yard. It's peaceful there and I enjoyed every minute.

Got me thinking. God put Adam & Eve in a garden and walked with them there. When I'm in my garden of container plants I feel him walking with me.

I know He's everywhere but to feel his presence in a garden is very special to me.
