They grow up so fast---Both my kids are headed off to the Homecoming dance. Elliotts going with a date (his FIRST!) and Hannah is going with the girls.
Kids....just when you think they will stay little for a little while they go and grow up on ya!

Those are two great looking kids, Melody! I love the picture of them hugging - SO sweet! They must make you burst with happiness! What blessings! :) - Nini

Very Cute! Hugs, Hannah

Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.
Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)
P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |

Melody, my homecoming was last night, too! I'll definitely post pictures! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

hope they had a great time. Once, when my son and his buddy were planning to go to homecoming, they were both really broke and so thought they'd get pizza. Now, having been a girl earlier in my life I just knew that was not gonna fly with their dates sooo. They had dinner at Chez Kirkman and I made caesar salad, lasagna and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. My DH was maitre d'/ waiter. complete with a white towel draped over his arm and a bow tie. What a blast. The kids loved it and even now, I occasionally run into their dates in town (10 years later) and they tell what a great evening it was. Cheap, too! Michele

Our high school's homecoming was a week earlier. Sure fun to see the kids go all dressed up. I only have one at home old enough to date who went this year (her first date as well) and it went really well. I have three grown boys so it isn't the first time..but always fun. They DO grow up fast!
