Hi, My blocks are finished and ready to go to the post office I just need your mailing address could you please email it to me. I'm trying to finish putting together my autumn block quilt an have it done before Thanksgiving so my guests can see how beautiful the blocks are that everyone made. I can't wait to get the Christmas blocks.

I went diving into my fabric stash. I found a good amount of holiday/Christmas fabrics. I think I am going to either make pinwheels or log cabin. Hummmmmm. I hope to have mine done next week.
Saturday the 13th I am taking a little trip to Delaware to see Sue Hausmann! I always love watching her show on PBS.

I am almost finished with my blocks. I should have them in the mail on Monday.
I have a bunch of blocks from a few other swaps that I hope to have time before christmas to make at least two tops. I will probably just tie them with bows or buttons. I have to time to send them out to be quilted.

No problem Ruth. Several won't be mailed tomorrow. When they all get here you will all receive them ASAP. Life gives us little bumps here and there so we just have to roll with the punches, right? We are all understanding on this forum. What a surprise we will get when they all arrive!

I am going to need your address please.
I decided to just make a simple pinwheel block.
My trip to Delaware was great. Sue Hausmann is so nice. I believe she really loves doing these trunk shows. She is so knowledgeable about the Viking machines. During a small intermission I asked her a question and gosh, she just pulled me to the side and jumped on a machine and showed me exactly what needed to be done.
She had a lot of projects and old quilts to share. I forgot to bring my camera and I am hoping that I will get a few photos from a new sewing friend I met. Sue is such a regular down to earth person. I would love to take a hands on class instructed by her. I will keep watching her web site just incase she offers one close to home.

Sure will Ruth. This is getting so exciting. I think we should do an Easter quilt block swap. Same size, same rules. Should we do it after the Holidays? Think of all the bunny, egg and spring fabric we could use!
