I had just put in the last embroidery stitch and was giving it the last pressing/starching and noticed a slight scorch along one of the edges. Is there any way that I can get the scorching out?

Thanks for your input!

If the fabric where you have the scorch is perfectly white you can try hyrdogen peroxide, and sometimes soaking in cold water can get the scorch to come out (though I haven't always had the best results with this).

What I have had good luck with is straight while vinegar like Sherry mentioned and then rinsing with ice cold water. If that doesn't work along the same lines as hydrogen peroxide is lemon juice in sun.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone! I put the embroidery in the washer with some cold water and white vinegar and soaked it for a little while. The scorch came completely out!
