Sat down for a while and finished labeling my Apple Jelly, Plum Jelly, Apple/Plum Butter, Apple Butter and my Winter Compote...

I just had to take a picture-

I think I found a new hobby!

They look beautiful. Do you sell them or give them for gifts? Seems like too much work just to use them yourself! Around here they'd be gone fast anyway.

That's why I love the little 1/2 pint jars-We've gone through 2 apple/plum butters already!

I never thought about selling them...they are sweet looking aren't they?

My DH has a big family with a lot of sisters--Every once in a while I will "do" a basket with homemade stuff at Christmas time. This year I am making my world famous Scones and thought I would include a jar or two of my jellies and butters. I look for vintage sterling sugar spoons and put it all together in a little basket. They are very nice, if I do say so myself!

I've been making tons of jams and jellies, planning to use them as Christmas presents. Have lots of family who would never dream of MAKING something vs just buying it but they always seem to like my handmade goodies.
I've been buying some of the new fabrics with fruits on them to put on top of my jars.
Just cut a circle larger than the jar and tie with twine.

You did a wonderful job. I am hoping to make some apple pie filling and put it with a bybee (pottery) pie plate and give for Christmas.
