Hi! I would love to join this swap for December. Like Catherine we have a tradition with our ornaments. Every year I make one and buy one for my daughter and they have to represent something significant in her life that year. I also either make one or buy one for my hubby and I about our year or our vacation so when we look at the tree it is a history of our lives. Now that my daughter is 27, she has enough for her own tree too, except she still comes home for Christmas so they are still on our tree! It will be sad for me when she finally takes them.
Anyway, this should be a lot of fun! I'm open to whatever someone sends me. :)

That's sweet, Ginny....I understand about that empty nest, after having 5 children and the last left to go to college 3 years ago. I don't like that empty nest business!!

I received my ornament(s) today and I absolutely love them. The one you made is so pretty and fun. I will cherish it forever. Thank you for sending them so early. It was a great thing to come home from a stressful week and find such a great surprise.

OMG, I received my ornament from Nini yesterday and it is fabulous!!! Thank you so much. I can't believe the work that went into it! You did a beautiful job. I will get a pic posted later but I wanted to say thanks before I forget...I blame those old hormones as I seem to be doing a lot of forgetting lately :(

Diane - Thank you so much for the adorable angel ornament, plus the added surprises of chocolates, soap, and a notepad set. You were right on the ball getting this done!! I plan to work on your ornament this weekend and will get it in the mail on Monday.

Ok, I was in the wrong thread. I got the most beautiful ornaments from Linda in Fargo yesterday. She handpainted the smallest teacup and saucer with little tiny hollyleaves. It's so pretty. And a cute little vintage looking stocking that she embelished. So pretty. I love them both. Also a pack of good smelling pomegranite fresh scent stuff. My whole house smells so good right now. Thank you so much, Linda.
