It's me again.....It has been decided that we will end the Monthly Christmas Ornament Swap with a grand finale and open a December Ornament swap to everyone, new farmgirls and established farmgirls. If you were signed up for the May to November ornament swap, please sign up for this December swap and if you were not signed up, now is the chance to sign up for an ornament swap to wrap up the year!
This will be ONE ornament for the month of December! When the swap ends partners will be assigned and posted on this thread.
You get to choose what ornament you will make..(it might be nice if when you sign up, you put what ornaments you prefer or if you like religious ones or more traditional)
The May to November swap was my first to host and I have learned a lot!! I appreciate all the patience and participation this swap has received so far. Continue with this swap and let's wrap up the year and include all the new girls!!!
Sign-up ends November 1st and mail outs by November30th.

Merry Crafting Christmas!!!!! Love to all...Smiles, BEth

Beth, I would like to do this swap. Sounds like fun. And anything will be fine with me. I do a more country theme. Lots of reds and greens. Traditional, I guess.

Well I have had so much fun making the ornaments that I would love to do another. I will continue with the theme for this year from me. It is southwest inspiration. So if anyone wants that style I would be happy to make it. I don't have a style when it comes to decorating for Christmas. So I am happy with anything. Thanks Beth for doing this swap, will you be doing it again next year, I do hope so.

I'm in, too, Beth! Country/Traditional - snowmen and angels are my favorites! Any idea what the cut-off/mail dates might be?

Looking forward to getting a new handmade ornament.

I would love to do this - I have been making Christmas ornaments for years. I prefer non-religious decorations myself, though the style can be anything lol. I have a very eclectic tree, as I collect ethnic ornaments from around the world.

My mom started the most wonderful tradition when I was about eight, I think....my brother is 5 years younger than me and I remember him barely being old enough to choose. Each year us kids were encouraged to pick one ornament each that mom would buy for us, usually on our annual trek downtown (Chicago) to see the holiday displays in the store windows and see Santa at Marshall Field's. She even kept a written record of what ornament we got which year. When I moved out of the house, I already had enough ornaments to decorate a lovely tree. It really makes decorating each year all that more special, top remember getting them and the things we were doing as a family!

Dear Catherine, that is a sweet memory...I have done that for all my children thru the years, my oldest is 31 on down to 21 (I have 5)and it is so fun to watch them get their ornaments out, the day after Thanksgiving and talk about this ornament or that ornament and when and where they got it...Then they race to the tree and try to get their ornaments all up front and in the best spots...What fun...Smiles, Beth

Add me in too please. Our tree is pretty eclectic, sometimes country, sometimes themed but I plan to have my own MJF tree this year and include all the ornaments I have recieved during the May-Nov swap.

Count me in Beth! I really enjoyed receiving all these wonderful ornaments from these talented women! I have no preference for my ornaments, my tree is covered with MANY different types (kid made, store bought..etc!)
