We are SO dry and have not had rain in a month here. It's looking pretty bad to say the least. And no chances or rain in the 10 day forecast too. So I am asking for some rain prayers, rain dances, rain songs. Whatever it takes to get some of that wet stuff. We need it dad. In this valley we are the last to get rain usually. But I see it's raining all over the place but not here. Please pray that we get some relief soon. I am going to have to start feeding hay soon if it doesn't rain. I have a guy right now out there bush hooging the pastures in hopes of some much needed rain to refresh everything. I am praying and believing God will send us some rain.
Forgot to say we are 11" below normal right now. That's bad.

Thank you both! I had the pastures bush hogged yesterday and now wish I had waited. There's a little green out there. But now the poor cow girls are trying to get over the fences to the other side!But I am believing we will get rain soon. There is a slight chance today. I am glad you're getting rain up there, Diane.

Well, I was outside trimming up around the border and along the fence out front and felt a few sprinkles! I looked up and saw some clouds over Chattanooga. I guess they got some rain. But that's it. So I'm doing a rain dance now too hoping the clouds will come back this way.

Well, still no rain. I think we had about 3 seconds of wet a few nights ago. Long enough for me to say I hear rain. That's it. Other places got some which is great. I am glad. So please still do those rain dances for us!! Thanks.

but when i look at some of the other
regions that are swamped well
i'd prefer dry..lol

Yesterday to the north of us they got slammed. We got a very little bit. But we'll take it. We need an nice all day drizzle. I looked in my journal back on Aug. 17th. It was raining and I had to wait for it to stop so I could get to the car. I can't remember. I'm glad I wrote it down.
I'll be praying for rain to come your way too, Karen.

IT'S RAINING!!!! Yippee! A nice steady drizzly rain. It started last night. It stopped for me to go out and feed and milk the goats. That was nice. But now it's going again. I am so happy! It looks like it will be raining all day too.
