To the first ample~bodied farmgirl who leaves a comment on my blog, I will send this vintage apron. It is handmade from an older (probably 50s?) fabric outlined in rick rack and recently found in my apron stash. In very good condition with just a few very light stains ... hardly noticeable. Just felt like giving something away today!

Your pictures are simply lovely! I feel like I could just walk right into most of them :-) At present I am sitting in your lovely new rocker staring at a perfectly blue sky. Thank you for sharing and a chance at your lovely apron. Have a great day!

Sister #918 ... you are the winner if you want this apron. The other comment was left yesterday before the giveaway. The barnart is on the way to some property on a lake that we own in North Idaho. I've passed it several times, but this time actually got out of the car and took pictures. Aren't they amazing little works of art? Email me your address if the apron is to your liking and I'll send it right off. Best, Sharon

Oh, I won! What a wonderful day :-) Yesterday I got a job and today an apron...Thank you so very, very much.
So over time as you have driven by the barn, I am wondering out loud here, did the art show up in pieces or has it been there as a whole? I just love curiosities - does the artist own the barn...property or just love the location and took a chance? Any thing else around the barn? Just musings:-)
Thank you again Sharon - what a lovely thing to wake up and do...brighten someone elses day :-)

Sharon, is there a house with a goat mailbox up the road from where you took those pix? That barn looks familiar to me, but I haven't been by that way in a year or so, so maybe I'm just imagining that I know that barn! |
