Cherime, I use to live in Wasilla, back in the eighties when there was just one road it is was only a couple of blocks wide. We had a house built there.

We had our windows open for a while then we had to close things back up, but tonight it is going to get down to 59 so we will be opening back up.

I watched a few scary movies yesterday so had to shut all the windows and lock them too. I don't know what it is about scary movies on Saturday. But I like them. Then I get scared at night. I have to have a night light and everything. Does anyone else like scary movies?

But this morning they are all opened back up and the breeze is blowing. It's just the perfect Autumn day again. Love this weather and this time of year.

Kris~ Boo! I love scary movies. When they get to scary I mute it. It doesn't seem so scary when I can't heard the music.lol I also lock all windows and doors and have nightlights (plural) on. My husband just laughs and says I am hear what are you afraid of! Well..... It can come up a huge storm and the great protector snores right through it. So thats why I lock everything. Is it chilly up there tonight? It felt great today. Worked outside all afternoon. Miss talking to you.

Blessings,

The windows are shut. We had our first fall frost last night. It was heavy on the windshield and roof of the pickup in the yard, but the garden managed to escape. We've had a good season but the freezer is about full and I'm tired, no dashing out to cover plants for us this fall!

Well....I've had the AC off for about a week and this morning I had to turn on the heat! I tried not too but I am getting older and have RA so my joints don't need to get chilled! LOL! But it will warm up later...it was 38 outside when I got up at 6:30 this morning but supposed to be in the 60's later and 70's later this week. I LOVE this time of year and I have the windows open until bedtime usually but have to close them because I have those vertical blinds and the chains rattle if there's a breeze and it wakes me up. I have to replace them but also my animals hear too many other animals at night around here and are constantly "alerting" me if I leave the windows open at night.

Sandra, chains rattling at night would really be scary! I have dogs outside too and they bark at anything. They have been pretty good but this morning Bubba kept barking. I don't even look most of the time. I know their barks. He's usually barking at other dogs barking.

Tina, you are too funny! My hubby's the same way. I could be up and dressed and have a burglar shot before he's even roll over! Men! They think they are so bad. Hah!

Susan, it's hard to believe some people are getting frosts already. It is chilly here but no frost so far.

I had the windows open today for awhile but had to shut them. It's really cool. I am cold. But it's nice. I am drying apples in the dehydrator right now and the house smells like cinnamon. I love that. I canned pears yesterday. I love this time.

I hope ya'll stay warm!

Tina, I hope you have a safe trip to Haiti. I bet it's very humid there. How long will you be staying? And what will you be doing there? Inquiring minds want to know!

Kris, We will be there a week. We have a team of 20 going and will be doing, Medical (that is what I will be doing), construction, and childrens ministey. Busy week for sure. We leave on the 23r and come back on the 30th. We were told to expect to see around 500 patients a day. I am already tired just thinking about it.lol

Tina, you will be a busy lady for sure. You won't have time to do anything else at all probably. You'll need a vacation when you get back!

It's hot, ya'll. It was about 83 yesterday. I am NOT complaining at all. I am ok with this. Windows are still open.

Oh my goodness, I am loving this weather right now! It's been in the high 70's the last few weeks. My windows are opened again during the day. It does get cold at night. Rain tomorrow, which we desperately need. But all in all, I am not complaining. I have not had the heat on yet. I will wait til it starts to be really freezing cold.

I hope everyone has a great week.

Kris

Yesterday and today and the rest of the week is just about warm enough to open windows again here. It's in the 70's!! I am loving this. It's beautiful. I know some of you are getting snow already. I am so glad it's not here. I am enjoying this weather. I'm going to get hay in a little while while it's so nice out. I hope everyone's having as good a day as I am.

If I left the windows open, our breath would freeze before it got out of our noses. *just kidding* It was 22 degrees this morning.

The rain has come. I was outside earlier doing animal stuff and it was sprinkling. So for the next few days we will be rainy. I have enough hay to last til next week so I am good.

And the windows are shut for awhile now. It's really now supposed to be very cold. I am happy about that. I won't have to have the heat on too much.
