Kathy,
No problem on the delay. We have been BURIED in snow the last 2 days, so I'm not even sure FedEx could get here. We just got back home last night and it took us 12 1/2 hours to make an 8 (at the most) trip because of the storm.
Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I love the picture of her!!!

Sara was scheduled for delivery today. If you have not received her I will have to track her movements on Monday. All my shipping information is at the office.

Sara arrived today!!! She is BEAUTIFUL!!! I worked a 12 hr. shift today so I just got home and was able to rescue her from the box.
Kathy, the travel case is wonderful!!! I haven't had a chance to read her journal yet, but I will. And I will enjoy her visit.

ceejay the pics are awesome- so many of you gals are so talented!!! i'm thinking sara won't get to me til spring weather now...but that's ok!!!
i would love to see a photo of her travel case if you could????
and i love all of her acoutrements!!!!!

Kathy,
I didn't make that outfit. It was made by my MIL a LONG time ago.
She used to make doll clothes and sell them. She gave me several outfits about a year ago for me to do whatever with. I have sold a few at our Farmers Market. But I thought if that one fit her well enough I'd add it to her wardrobe.
It probably qualifies for "vintage". I'm going to send a pic to my MIL and tell her about "Sara".
I'm going to take a few more pics before I kiss her goodbye!

Dear Farmgirls,
It's time for Sara to leave Colorado and head for Kathy's house in North Carolina. So, she will be headed out tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 12th.)
I've posted THREE new pics to her photo album today, and they will be the last. It's been fun "playing dolls" again . . .something I've not done for decades!!!!
Thanks for the opportunity and I hope all you farmgirls who have yet to have her come visit enjoy her as much as I have.
Kathy, I will have confirmation/tracking info if we need it and I will get that to Alee as well.

Kathy . . she's on her way. I emailed tracking # to Alee and I have it as well.
Also, got insurance on the box.
So, I just left her at the post office . . . . . waaaaahh :(

Miss Sara arrived safe and sound just a few minutes ago. Were enjoying a nice hot cup of lemon ginger tea to warm us both. Will learn how to post pics so we can share.

Thanks for the offer, taking pictures is not a problem, getting them out of the camera is my problem. I'm technology challenged. Hubby is here to help and this is a good reason to learn how. I will send you an email if we need some help.
Oh and by the way, I'm about the same distance from Charlotte as your brother, I'm to the west and he is to the south.
