It's becoming that time of year again. The leaves on the trees are losing the bright green. You can sleep with the windows open and maybe a light covering. The closing days of summer mean that it is time for me to read Rosamunde Pilcher's "September" again. I want to live in her world, where day-to-day things are far from ordinary.
In December, I reread her "Winter Solstice". It's a Christmas story for those who are tired of the usual Chri$tma$ hype, about people who are not at a festive point in their lives.
Both books have several storylines which overlap, then merge. Her locales are usually Corwall, London, and Scotland.
Can anyone suggest other books like these, which you traditionally reread at certain times of the year?
