Yes, me. I have been listening to Country since Porter Wagneer and Patsy Cline started out. Country has changed a lot since then but I still like it.

Absolutely, that is ALL I listen too, but as Beth says it sure has changed over time, long gone are the true country musicians/vocalists. Except George Strait, now he is STILL country and my book, and of course it don't hurt he is from Texas too:)

I love 80's and 90's country. Clint Black, George Strait, Mark Chestnutt. I'd take any one of these three. LOL

Anybody like John Conlee? Mr. Rose Colored Glasses? I'm bringing him to San Angelo, Texas for a dance/concert to benefit our therapeutic riding program where I work! I get Red Steagall every May to do our Belt Buckle Ball benefit. He is a good man and great songs/poems.

I love all music, but I've recently grown fonder of country, just because it's so much more meaningful than the pop music I listen to. I love love love Lady Antebellum, though! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

I too love country music, I can remember when my daughter was young in the late 80's and she would be upset when dropping her off at gymnastics and she was afraid the other kids would hear that music now a lot of kids listen to it even her! Jill Lillian |

Yep, I was raised listening to it, my dad was a listener and I guess I just never got away from it. I love all music except maybe hard rock but country is my fav. Blessings,Karen

Of course. My favourites are still what was played in the late 80's/90's. Though like many of the new one out there.

You mean there's something besides country music? I listen to it all day every day at work. I also have a new cable TV system and have CMT so I can watch the videos, too! What could be better?? I love the "new" country - Miranda Lambert, Lady A, Zac Brown Band, Sugarland - great sounds and emotions. New CDs coming for Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith soon, too!!!

That's exactly why I listen to country mostly. I have some early rock-n-roll and 70s and 80s stuff on my iPOD and there is some new music that I like, but mostly I don't. It's bad that you have to consider looking for a new place to work. I figure that you've already asked them to play something else, Corrine?

Country girl here too. So is most of my family. Some of the new stuff is too popish for more, but that is what the buttons on the radio are for.
One of the main reasons I left a job for was a co-workers choice in music that was frying my brain for 8 hours a day.
