Favorite part of Fall, cooler, cuddle weather, putting the farm/ranch to bed, and greatly anticipating winter cold.

I love the colors of the leaves in the fall, the crisp air in the morning, and cooler days that bring sweaters out and of course football season too.

I love the colors of the trees and love to go out walking and the crushing of the leaves. The cooler weather, hay rides and weenie roast. Gathering pine cones and bittersweet. I could go on and on, it's just my favorite!!

Well of course the curtains blowing in the cool breeze, and I usually get that nesting thing where I want to change things around, which I love to do. Big surge of energy seems to kick in. Nancy Jo

Y 'all KNOW I am a Summer girl, but the things I like about Fall are the changing of colors, warmth of the fire place and just being inside with a few candles, a good book and a warm sweater lol

Thanks for hosting this Megan, you are so sweet!
I LOVE everything about Fall. The cooler weather, sweaters & jeans, the first fire in the woodstove, not to mention beautiful fall leaves, pumpkins and apple cider :)

Fall is my very favorite season. It just makes me feel so happy. I love sweaters. I like to make soups and stews. And I love to go to Ketner's Mill fall festival in Tn. That to me is the beginning of fall. There's a Mennonite family that makes the best molassis ever and I love to get it there fresh. And all the good music and people all over. Funnel cakes and fried pies. Oh, I cannot wait!

I LOVE FALL! And after the unbearably hot and humid Summer that we have had, I will welcome fall with open arms...only to be filled with an armload of firewood soon after.
October 8th, I'm taking a train trip with my dear sweet Mom to Rhode Island for my nephew's wedding. I can hardly wait!
Happy Fall You All!

Oh I love fall - I was tempted to put out my scarecrows today in the front yard but I gotta wait until early September, I guess. Nothing as wonderful as sunny days with a hint of crisp air and pumpkins, mums, scarecrows and fresh pumpkin muffins.

Fall is my favorite season. First, because my birthday is then, also because the pace slows down and we get ready for the long slide into the holidays. I also always loved fall because it brought the start of the school year. Something about fall makes me want to buy #2 pencils and notebooks.

I love the cooler working weather. Standing back and watching all of the animals, how the change of season makes even the older ones act like youngins again. Watching the horses jump around acting a fool. Yep I can hardly wait. This heat index of 100-106 is not fun anymore especially when you work outdoors.
I'm so busy I don't know if I just found a rope or lost my horse! |

Being from Florida, Summer is VERY, VERY, VERY long! I look forward to fall every year because it means I can shut off the AC, open the windows and enjoy the cool breeze as I flitz around the house (cooking, cleaning, sewing, reading, playing with the kids). It also means that the kids can play outside without melting or getting carried away by mosquitos. HOORAY!!
