Has anyone else ever read "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon. That book is what got me started looking closer at what we eat. It also got me started fermenting. I think everyone should have to read it (especially doctors).

Her explanation of the way margarine is made, makes it impossible for me to ever eat it again. My best friend won't eat butter, even though I have told her how nasty margarine is.

I have the book - I haven't read it cover to cover. We *try* to do a NT diet - mostly we're clean eating right now. I just requested another book from the library about fermenting. I'd like to add that to our "diet".

The cereal is what hit me. edited to say - the article abuot cereal.

Liz,

This sounds interesting. I'm going to check and see if our library has it. Judy

Judy,

If your library doesn't have it, you can request it through the interlibrary loan. All the libraries in MI share books. You can pick it up at your local library. If you can't get it, I'll let you borrow mine, but you have to promise to give it back.

Deb,

If you want a book on fermenting, get "Wild Fermentation" by Sandor Katz. It is the best. There is a website too. www.wildfermentation.com

I have both of these books. They are both great.
