Hi all, I hope somebody can help me. I followed the starter recipe to a T- the recipe from the Idea book. The first couple of days the starter was getting bubbly but hasn't been bubbly since then. I added the water and flour everyday for 6 days as instructed. My last add was 3 days ago. The starter sits on my counter, doing not a thing. It's not bubbly, it's not smelling fermented, nothing. I don't know if I should just let it sit out, if I should stir it, if I should add something, etc. Does anybody have any ideas??? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Mine went nuts last week too. I think it just got to hot. There are many many reasons but just remember it is only flour and water.
The flour the water who knows just start a new one and try again.
