to make me clean. I hate to clean and avoid it at all costs. But when company comes I get busy. I am taking a break right now. But I am sweating from all the running and sweeping and dusting. Plus in and out doing this and that. Man, I am pooped!

My friend who I have not seen in a long time called and said she'd be out in a few hours. So I am thankful for that. Now I am just waiting. Then Monday my neice and her 2 little boys are coming. I might just wait til AFTER they leave to clean! With 2 little boys that might be a better idea than before. I'm sure she will understand.

That's funny! I have to keep the place clean in case Dad comes over [He doesn't say anything but I know I don't want to be a bad example in the housekeeping area for a single older male].
What is bad is I do the pile it instead of file it thing and am activly involved in Family Genealogy - so you can imagine the mess I have here. And I don't notice it until I take photos of the cats doing something cute. UGH! Is that what people see when they come over?

So I'm trying to get a little better organized. [Little kids have nothing on me when I get lazy].
Smiles!

OMGoodness you are so right! My parents are coming in town this next week and I found myself sweeping out my fireplace and sucking cobwebs from the corners with the vacuum (things I don't normally even notice LOL) yesterday.

I haven't dislodged the spiders from their homes yet. But tomorrow I am going to get that skinny little vacuum attachment and suck all the dust out of the steam heat wall radiators. Looks like that's never been done here. Yuck!

Hey, If I ever say I am coming, don't you dare clean just for me. I come to see my friends, not how clean their house is!
My friends say they have to clean before I come over. They know my house stays picked up and clean. I never judge others on their houses. It is like a disease with me. I wish I weren't so anal with my own home!!

Well, she got lost! I told her 5100 and she thought I said 1500. Oh well. She said she's come today. I gave her my cell #. I never answer my home phone but just reached for it when she called. Strange. So she should be here soon. I think I will make some salad and the tomato, mozarella and basil stuff. And I made peppermint sun tea yesterday. I do love to have company but living way out here we hardly ever do. Unless they need something. That's why we want to move closer to town. We miss company.

Gena, you can come anytime and I will try not to have the house too awfully clean for you! I just hate the dog hair all over. And when people do come and he's inside, he jumps up on the window seat in the dining room and slobbers all over the window. Yuck! So I do like to have that cleaned off. Since we do eat in their.
