In my attempt to begin my very own framed sampler, I found this one on the Internet to share (for those also making one).

Also, I found this site that talks about the history of embroidery samplers. I'm not sure if it's exact history, but would like to know from experienced stitching farmgirls here.

that is a very pretty sampler! I'd love for my girls to stitch one so I can frame it as well. They're busy stitching for the Sublime Stitching contest right now.
