I am interested in hearing stories from anyone who went to the Farm Chick Sale in Fairfield on May 20 and 21st. Did you meet any Farm Girls there?

Mary,
Did you go? I wanted to so badly, but due to some unforseen expenses lately, I had to behave and stay home. I am going to the next sale for sure!!

Yes, I went..both days! The rain was pretty bad on Saturday, but the die hards came out anyway. I think the attandance was down because of the rain though.
The little park on the upper side of town was so quaint. There were more people in town using their yards or sidewalks to sell things. But that was fine.
Sunday the weather was beautiful. It was not crowded at all. But I truthfully thought most of the vendors had a lot less stuff. The is my personal opinion but the ones that still had alot of stuff left on Sunday...well, it was because their prices were kinda steep. Some my not agree with me, but it is what I felt.
Two of us from Kindred Spirits Chapter (Post Falls) gals met Cindylou and Julie Bell for lunch there. They are absolutely lovely, warm, friendly and very down to earth.
I also met Kate (I think is her name), the MJF seamstress. She was very nice as well.
I do not ever see myself not attending Farm Chicks. I always come away with some wonderful treasures.
I loved one of the bands. They were Prairie Flyer...blue grass. I bought ALL of their CD's.
We had pasta from the pasta guy for lunch...oh so delicious and what a nice man.
I guess someone from Country Living was there on Saturday, but I did not stay long enough to meet them. I never saw Teri or Serena.
Well, there it is a first hand report!

I wasn't able to go either, but your description makes my mouth water - I will definitely go next year.

Well, I tip my hat to the Farm Chics. I did a real ringy thing...I left one of my packages behind at the Farm Chics. I was at at table in the grange hall buying my CD's from Prairie Flyer and sat down a bag with treasures in it and promtly walked off and forgot it. So yesterday I got on the phone to the Prairie Flyer Band and the lady selling the CD's had noticed a bag there but thought it belonged to the sound man, so she did not move it. But he must have turned it in because when I sent an email to the Farm Chics I got a reply that they had my bag and would send it out to me. I am thankful that all involved were honest and are getting me my goodies. When it arrives I will post some pics of the treausres I got this weekend.

Thanks Farm Chics!
