Kimberly, This sounds like so much fun, but several things have come up and rather then disappoint someone I think I better bow out before you partner sisters up. I hope this does not cause you too much of a problem. I am very sorry. Rebecca

I'm in too. If you'd like to participate, please respond and give your answers to the following:
1) What kind of Halloween costumes did you wear as a child? mostly the homemade kind; one year I dressed up as a hobo and another 50-60's with a homemade poodle skirt. 2) My favorite Halloween movie is Nightmare Before Christmas.
3) When I decorate my house for Halloween, it usually features pumpkins. Love them!
4) My favorite kind of Halloween treat is anything chocolate.
5) (True) I like to make Halloween crafts. I have been working on a small wooden decoration that has to be painted up with faces on three different sized pumpkins.

Hello! I would love to participate in this swap as well! Please add me to your list! Below are the answers to the survey:
1) What kind of Halloween costumes did you wear as a child? (scary, pretty, silly, etc.)I wore mostly whatever we could come up with... Hobo's, Baseball players, scarecrow, witch. Sometimes we would even switch costumes and go to the same houses twice (hey what can I say we were greedy for candy!!)
2) My favorite Halloween movie is "Its the great pumpin Charlie Brown."
3) When I decorate my house for Halloween, it usually features pumpkins and all things autumn. I prefer to keep the autumn theme, so that I can leave it all up until Thanksgiving! I love the primitve style!
4) My favorite kind of Halloween treat is Dark Chocolate!
5) Fairly True---I like to make Halloween crafts. Well- I am just beginning to become "crafty" in my old age...ha ha.. so simple is best for me.I've started to crochet and am trying to learn how to sew etc. To sum it up- I love everything about Fall, and like things in the primitive, country, old fashioned style. So excited about this--- I've seen some real cute things in the stores already and my wheels are turnin' Smiles, Laurie Farmgirl Sister#1403

What a fun idea! I am definitely in. Responses are below:
1) What kind of Halloween costumes did you wear as a child? (scary, pretty, silly, etc.) If I ad my way it was always the pretty costumes.
2) My favorite Halloween movie is__________. "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". I have to watch it every year.
3) When I decorate my house for Halloween, it usually features___________ (pumpkins, scarecrows, witches, etc.). Definitely pumpkins.
4) My favorite kind of Halloween treat is ____________. Chocolate, with candy corn a second favorite.
5) (True or False) I like to make Halloween crafts. (If true, please tell what kind of crafts you make.) Very, very true. In my needlework, quilting and rug hooking I love Halloween and fall designs that feature pumpkins and the more traditional, gothic type of Halloween decorations.

Sign me up! I'm ready for another swap, it's been a couple of months! Here are my answers:
1) What kind of Halloween costumes did you wear as a child? I liked to be witches, but my favorite was a gypsy, everything was homemade, usually from stuff found around the house, nothing too scary.
2) My favorite Halloween movie is the "Halloween Town" series and anything to do with Vampires.
3) When I decorate my house for Halloween, it usually features, pumpkins, witches, wreathes and when the trick or treaters come we put on a blacklight and fire up the fog machine.
4) My favorite kind of Halloween treat is carmel apples and anything chocolate (but not a nut fan)
5) True, I do like to make Halloween crafts. Usually autum and Halloween themed wreaths and I like to paint the ceremic forms from the craft stores.
That's all about me.
Kimberly Ann,I think that this questionair was a great idea!!
Thanks for putting this all together for us, it's gonna be great. Liz

Almost didn't make the deadline. Please count me in. Our costumes were always hand made with whatever we could find around the house. My favorite movie is "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" I Love to decorate with pumpkins, ghourds and scarecrows. Popcorn balls and caramel apples I like to make pumpkins out of fabric and scarecrows.
With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. |

I emailed my partner Jill and I can't wait to do this swap either. I feel just like Laurie...the hard part will be deciding what NOT to include in the goodie bag and to keep it at $20.00. I feel just like a little kid in a candy shoppe!!
