The last book I read was Maryjane's Ideabook. The can hassock did bring back memories. My sister used to make them. I had one as a child. It inspired me to make one for my mother-in-law. I thought I might start wearing an apron too.

Right now I am reading what I call a Fun, Quick, Light Read (a no brainer/fast paced read) It is a Mystery Story
called A Glimpse of Evil by Victoria Laurie. It is about a Psychic Profiler who works for the FBI. She is humorous, gets in over her head sometimes and works with her best girlfriend and her boy friend in the same Cold Case Dept.

Then in one of the book clubs I belong to (on-line) we are starting the Book 61 Hours by Lee Child. Haven't started it yet, just know it is a Thriller Detective Story.
