Good June! Think of a really good question. Now remember, it can be literature or even poetry - that should make it interesting. We should start a poetry forum where we can submit our own poems - I know budding poets lurk in all of us farmgirls!

I got my package today Nancy!!! It is soooo great!! Thank you for all the goodies, and the hanky and buttons are wonderful!! Unfortunetly the saucer got chipped on its journey, but im pretty sure i can glue it back together, and it gives the tea set a nice little story!! Thanks again Nancy, yours will be in the mail shortly along with Sue's.

Just had a cup of tea in my lovely rose teacup sent by my good farmgurlfriend Kathy!! I've got to order some more of that delicious tea you sent to me. I found an online source finally! Just read through all of the threads......this is so fun! Oh, I posted a poem on the poem site.

Enjoy your tea everyone!!

I am so happy you like the tea Aunty George - we need to have a place to list your favorite teas.
Take a look see here girls - I am drinking a lovely cup of Zhena's Gypsy King Chai - it is spicy and exotic - they come in such decorative canisters - this particular one talks about palm reading on the back.

Sometimes you may find these teas in Marshalls store or you can order online - they are worth it! Another favorite of mine is I Love Lemon tea by Bigelow and Tummy Mint Tea by Celestial Seasonings, although that is hard to find now!

Glad you liked everything, would you like me to send you another cup and saucer? I would be happy to do that. Think I might order some tea from the site that Kathy suggested, the containers looked so cute I might like them as much as the tea!

Nancy Jo - I am back in town and picked up my mail...with your lovely cup and saucer plus extra handmade goodies waiting for me. Thank you! I loved your packaging, too everything was intact. Note: Nancy Jo used a huggies wipes dispenser which holds a cup and saucer wrapped and stuffed with gift tissue plus extra goodies, and wrapped tight with packing tape!

It is neat to find so many things in common - we are all definitely in the right place on this Farmgirls Connection. (Thank you, Mary Jane)

Nancy Jo, I will send your cup tomorrow; maybe I will send it back in the same huggies dispenser!

Ok girls, I'm back, sorta of, trying to keep busy and I think I have the next question for you. The subject has changed to one of my favorites, I esp. loved the movie, have seen it many times. It's about Cross Creek by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, author of The Yearling. The question is; Who owns Cross Creek?

Gals, I decided to add some more fun into the mix while we are waiting for the correct answer to Sue's great question I am gonna throw another one in the mix - I found this old book on my shelf today and just picked out this passage - I will quote the passage and let's see if any of you know what book it is from - PS - here is a hint, this was also a movie.
"When you make a complete change in your mode of living, as I did, you learn that, along with the strange aspects of the new life which seep in and become part of you, will come others to which you never become accustomed. Some of the things I never got used to were:
The hen.
The gasoline lantern.
The outhouse at night where I had a horrible choice of either sitting in the dark or not knowing what was crawling on me or bringing a lantern and attracting moths, mosquitoes, night hawks and bats.
No radio.
No telephone.
Bats hanging upside down in the cellar, flying in the open bedroom windows on summer nights, swooping low over the bed, almost touching my face and making my skin undulate in horror.
Dropping boards and chicken lice."

Hehehe - didn't one of you'all have a recent encounter of the Batty kind! Good luck girls!
Hugs from the Enchanted Wood - which is still crawling with big juicy caterpillars - YICK!

It's been eons since I read it, and am not sure if it was a movie, but could it be "The Egg and I?" The hen is the only clue that I'm going on. Anyhow, it's a guess. Judy

Geeze, and I thought it might be a tricky question hehehe - you are very right indeed! Private email your address and I will get a package ready for you dear! Good memory you have - I am lucky if I remember what I ate yesterday lol - does anyone remember the old movie they based the series The Waltons on? I adored the Waltons and should have married John Boy - at least he could help with chores and you could have an intelligent conversation with him hehehe

O-kay - here's my question.......it's a poetry question:

What is the name of the farm that Robert Frost sold so that he could attend poetry school?

"I saw an act of Faith today -
a man was on his knees;
Not in a pew or in a church,
but in a garden planting seeds."

Got my package from you today and of course love everything. Thankyou so much, a cup and saucer, tea bags, 2 Kindred spirits magazines, a herb magazine, and a cute little book with roses on with poems and quotes. I just have to ask, what is NOT to love about this MARY JANE site. So thankyou again Kathy for such a thoughtful gift!!
