Hi all I am so excited to be a new farmgirl and join all you wonderful and talented ladies. I received my packet today- I am farmgirl #1771. I think I have waited my whole life for this and look forward to getting to know my fellow sisters. If only I lived on a farm- that is my wish, but not possible at this time, so I will be a farmgirl at heart always. I garden in my urban backyard and am looking forward to learning to knit, sew, etc. and start earning badges. I love to cook, preserve my garden and take care of my home, husband and pets. My two sons are grown so we have an empty nest.

Look forward to talking to all of you. Farmgirl # 1771- Donna

Welcome to the family Donna! Wow..didn't realize there were so many in the sisterhood now. I am number 24!!!! Hey..you can be a farmgirl whereever you are! I don't have a "real" farm either...just a farmette in a small town..but sounds like you have alot of farmgirlish stuff going on where you are...perfect...blooming where you are planted. It will be fun to get to know you here!

Welcome, Donna! I'm pretty new here too and loving it! I don't have a farm either but I love gardening, preserving food, and many of the farmgirl crafts.

Welcome Donna! I too felt like I've been waiting for this sisterhood. I'm fairly new and I've learned so much from other sisters and MaryJanesFarm magazine. I love to knit, bake, sew, can etc. I too will be earning badges soon! Happy times ahead!
