DRUM ROLL PLEASE!....the winner is Channah!
She came up with the Name Lucy (first) but that got me to Thinking about Lucille Ball...which got me to thinking about the 1950's or 60's song "LUCILLE" by Little Richard (and I love that old song)...so, what could be more fitting for an old bike (trike) But "LUCILLE"! And I am having her painted RED so PERFECT! So, Channah your prize will go out in the mail this week.
Thanks everyone for all the Fabulous suggestions...you made it very difficult to choose.
Hugs, Peggy
Farm Sisters help me choose a name for my vintage bike and the name I choose will win a prize. It will be a surprise to the winner until she receives it (but I will make it something good, I promise).
All Entries must be posted before July 19th. Please both post your suggestion on our Virtual Porch and email me your suggestion so that I don't miss any of them.
Blessings, ~peggy

"LADYBIKE" sounds a bit like "ladybug" because you're a lady, ladybugs are RED AND it's a bike

I think you should call your bike Billie. That's the name of John Dillinger's misstress and the main character in 'The Lady In Red' movie made about Dillinger. So if your The Lady In Red then your bike should be Billie!

Hmmm, let's see, I have thought of a few original ones... 1) Snow White (dunno why, but it just popped into my head) 2) Garnet Baby 3) Fierce God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae
At heart, I am both a sassy city girl and a down-home country gal. |

Bike names. Hmmm, I named both of my bikes, but their names are kind of lame- Baby and Blue.
I googled <girls names 1947> and they are all the standard, common names- nothing inspiring for a bike name. I love the names suggested so far.
I'm imaging you saying, "Ta ta, I'm going out with____" as you get on your trike and pedal off for an adventure. Red Rover, Red, Ruby, Ruby Slippers, Red Velvet, Red Armstrong (think Lance), Razz (short for Raspberry).

Lida...some of your names have already been given off different forums but I put you down for Ruby-Red, Ruby Slippers, Red Armstrong and Razz. Those are great names! You will notice I combined Ruby-Red because both of those have been given separately but I liked the sound of the combination so giving you credit for that combo.
Thanks and all that Jazz,(I am feeling silly today...which is good) ~peggy
